Parents/carers are welcome to apply to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using an online application form. Full details are available from the Education website.
Priority Enrolment Area
The Education Directorate places a limit on the number of students who can be enrolled at a school, this is called the school’s capacity. To ensure that schools are able to operate within their capacity, the Directorate designated Priority Enrolment Areas (PEAs). Please not that PEA areas can be updated annually.
Yarralumla Primary's PEA for 2022 is the suburb of Yarralumla and parts of the western half of the suburb of Deakin - west of the boundary line that runs down Adelaide Avenue, along Hopetoun Circuit, Macgregor Street, Stradbroke Street, Stonehaven Crescent and Strickland Crescent.

What should I do if I am interested in enrolling my child(ren) at Yarralumla Primary School?
Applications for enrolment can only be submitted via an online form provided by the Education Directorate. (Click here to access the enrolment form) If your application is accepted the school will contact you by email.
New enrolments from families who are residing in the current PEA are accepted throughout the year. Children who turn five by April 30 of the current enrolment year are eligible for enrolment in Kindergarten. When transferring from interstate, overseas or a local school, it is helpful if a written report is available at the time of enrolment.
If you wish to enrol, please contact the school by phone or e-mail. You will be asked to provide some details about your child(ren) such as date of birth, current school and year level, address, contact numbers and so on. We invite new families to our PEA to come and visit our school.
